Raffaela Delariarte

Raffaela 'Raffy' Delariarte is the Stage 1 Paralegal at Fortis, specializing in the negotiation and pre-litigation phase. A foreign-licensed attorney, Raffy uses her legal expertise to build early leverage, manage complex discovery, and position cases for high-value settlements.

Biography

Raffaela “Raffy” Delariarte serves as the Stage 1 Paralegal at Fortis Employment Law, where she is responsible for the critical first phase of our high-stakes cases. Raffy’s role is built on the belief that a case’s ultimate value is determined by the strength of its foundation. She focuses exclusively on the negotiation stage, helping our attorneys develop the leverage necessary to secure results before a matter ever reaches a courtroom.

Raffy brings a sophisticated legal perspective to the Fortis team as a licensed attorney in the Philippines. This background allows her to navigate complex discovery and case analysis with a level of rigor that few firms can offer at the pre-litigation level. At Fortis, she works directly with recently terminated professionals to organize evidence, cut through employer "noise" during negotiations, and ensure that every case is positioned for maximum recovery.

Although she is not licensed to practice law in Maryland, Raffy’s international legal experience and tactical approach to dispute resolution are essential to the Fortis "Straight Talk" philosophy. She ensures that our clients are prepared, informed, and backed by a legal team that begins strategizing for victory the moment a case is accepted.

Experience

With a background as a licensed attorney in the Philippines, Raffy has managed the initial litigation and negotiation phases for hundreds of employment matters. Her expertise in evidence gathering and case positioning allows Fortis to build immediate leverage against Maryland employers.

Practice Areas

Raffy focuses on negotiation strategy, pre-litigation discovery, and case positioning. She is the primary point of contact for the 'Stage 1' phase of wrongful termination and retaliation matters, ensuring cases are built for success from the outset.
